The Pitts Model 12 ‘Macho Stinker’ was the last design from the late and great Curtis Pitts. Designed around the awesome Russian M14P 360HP 9 cylinder radial engine the ‘Macho Stinker’ is an incredibly high performance biplane.

G-PXII is the only Pitts Model 12 operating in the UK and is a very rare beast in Europe. There are only 40 Pitts Model 12’s in operation worldwide, however most of these are in the USA with a couple in Canada and Australia.

G-PXII was imported form the USA in January 2008 by Rob and Alan where it was built by one of the USA’s most highly accredited builders, Ross Briegleb, Oshkosh Grand Champion.

With classic looks and the fantastic sound its 360 HP radial engine the aircraft is a winner on the air show circuit.
